The team is called the Tennessee Titans, not the Nashville Titans, though it is based in Nashville. The Titans are a professional American football team in the NFL’s American Football Conference (AFC) South division. They play their home games at Nissan Stadium on the east bank of the Cumberland River (Wikipedia). The franchise began as the Houston Oilers. It was founded in 1959 by Houston oil businessman Bud Adams, who owned it until his death in 2013, and it began play in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League. The team moved to Tennessee and has played at Nissan Stadium since 1999. A new domed stadium with a planned capacity of 60,000 broke ground on February 29, 2024, and is planned to open in 2027 (Wikipedia).
