The WeGo Star is a commuter train that runs on weekday mornings and afternoons between Lebanon and Riverfront Station in downtown Nashville, with seven stations in all. Trains carry riders from the east corridor into downtown in the morning and back out in the afternoon; there is no weekend service. You pay by station of origin, from $2.00 at Donelson to $5.25 for a single ride bought at most stations, and WeGo buses meet each train at Riverfront Station to take riders on into the city (WeGo Star).

Getting From Riverfront Station to Your Destination
WeGo buses meet each train at Riverfront Station:
- Route 64 Star Downtown Shuttle runs between Riverfront Station and 7th and Harrison.
- Route 93 Star West End Shuttle goes up Broadway to 21st Avenue and the Vanderbilt area, through the Belmont area, and back to Riverfront.
- Route 6 Lebanon Pike buses also meet the Star at Donelson and Hermitage.
For trips south of downtown, WeGo points riders to several bus routes on 4th Avenue. How the rest of the bus network and its fares work is in how the WeGo bus system works.
Who It Suits
The Star fits a weekday trip into downtown from Wilson County or the eastern parts of Davidson County, especially when the station lot is close to home and downtown parking would cost more. For a visit, it has clear limits: it does not reach the airport, it runs only on weekday mornings and afternoons, and Riverfront is its only stop in the city center.
