Where you park near Vanderbilt depends on why you are there. For the university campus, use Vanderbilt’s visitor parking: designated lots and garages, open 24 hours a day, at $4 an hour, paid through ParkMobile. For Vanderbilt University Medical Center, patients and visitors get free self-parking in the medical center’s garages and free valet. Vanderbilt University Medical Center Patients and Visitors
VUMC offers free self-parking and free valet on its main campus, according to Vanderbilt Health. Its free self-parking locations on the Nashville campus include:
- East Garage, for Medical Center East and the Vanderbilt University Hospital towers.
- Central Garage, for The Vanderbilt Clinic.
- South Garage, for The Vanderbilt Clinic and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital.
- The Village at Vanderbilt, ground-level and below-ground parking.
Vanderbilt Health warns that valet on the 21st Avenue campus can involve longer waits during construction and encourages self-parking if you can. If your vehicle is too tall for the garages, use valet. Guest Services is at (615) 322-5000, and shuttles are available on request at (615) 936-1215, option 3.
Games and Events
Vanderbilt athletics and campus events use the university’s special event parking, which can differ from everyday visitor parking. Check the event’s parking details before you go, and allow extra time on game days.
Nearby Streets
