Where Do You Park Near Bridgestone Arena?

Bridgestone Arena (501 Broadway) sits at the corner of Broadway and 5th Avenue in the center of downtown Nashville. It does not have its own dedicated on-site parking structure open to the public. Everything within a few blocks costs event-pricing on show nights, but there are multiple legitimate options at different price points.

The Official Options Listed by Bridgestone Arena

6th Avenue Garage (corner of 6th Ave S and Demonbreun): This is Bridgestone Arena’s designated primary parking, directly across the street. Purchase on arrival or online in advance. Event-night rates vary; walk-up rates run $20-35 for major shows. The Metropolis app is the official parking provider for the arena and Predators games.

Pinnacle at Symphony Place Garage – 150 3rd Ave S: Two blocks from the arena. Pre-purchase available through the Bridgestone Arena website. One of the better-positioned options if the 6th Avenue structure fills.

Music City Center Garage – 701 Demonbreun: The largest downtown garage (1,800 spaces), adjacent to the arena. 24-hour roving security. Rates as of June 2025: 0-5 hours $15, 5-9 hours $20, 9-12 hours $25, overnight $45. Event rates may be higher. This is the best option for a large event when the 6th Avenue structure is full.

First Baptist Church lot (corner of 6th Ave and Demonbreun): $25 for advance purchase. Right next to the arena.

5th Ave of the Arts Garage (5th Ave and Church): $10 for Predators games with advance purchase. Up the hill from the arena, slightly longer walk but the cheapest official pre-purchase option.

The Predators-Specific Option: Free Parking with Shuttle

For Nashville Predators home games only (not concerts), the Predators offer complimentary parking at Nissan Stadium Lot R across the Cumberland River. Shuttle service runs every 15-20 minutes starting 2 hours before each game and continuing until 2 hours after the final buzzer. Lot R holds over 1,000 vehicles and is accessible from the east side. Alternatively, fans can park in Lot R and walk the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge (10-12 minutes on foot). Lyft is the official rideshare partner of the arena and Predators; use code BRIDGESTONENASH for 50% off the first two rides (up to $10 per ride).

Budget Strategy

Lots priced $10 on ParkMobile and SpotHero exist within a 5-10 minute walk for most events. The further you park from the arena, the cheaper the rate. For a concert with 18,000 people, being 4 blocks away and paying $15 beats paying $35 next to the building. Pre-book 24-48 hours ahead through SpotHero or ParkWhiz for the best pre-event rates. Walk-up prices at private lots in the arena vicinity surge to $40-50 for major shows.

The Metro-owned Church Street Plaza Garage (151 6th Ave N) is 2-3 blocks away and charges $5-20 depending on time and event, making it consistently one of the cheaper nearby options even on event nights.

Post-Show Exit

Bridgestone Arena shows empty 18,000+ people into the downtown grid simultaneously. Driving out of the immediate vicinity immediately after a major show means 20-40 minutes of gridlock. Rideshare or walking to a restaurant for an hour after the show are both better strategies than trying to leave the moment the lights come up.
